Revolutionary H-bath - Natural Weight Loss

Revolutionary H-bath - Natural Weight Loss was written by Andy B Lee and he writes "Many years ago, during my Ph.D. program at Osaka University Medical School, I first heard of the half-body-bath (h-bath). My first impression of the idea to “Put the lower half of the body in warm water until the whole body is warm” was that it was hilarious. How could you warm up your body, while your upper half-body is out of the tub?

I had completely forgotten about it until 2 years ago, I was reminded of the h-bath by a friend, did some investigation on it, and then started the h-bath by myself. I read books about the h-bath and watched TV programs produced in Korea and Japan, and then I learned in detail about the h-bath. The h-bath was started by Dr. Yoshiharu Shindo, Japan, and spread into Korea and China over the years..

After I started the h-bath, first I was surprised at the amount of sweat in only in 20 minutes by putting lower body in the tub. Secondly, I felt my whole body was still warm enough even long after the h-bath (it lasted about 2 hours). I then recommended it to my wife who was suffering from “cold hands and feet”. Guess what! She was able to get rid of “cold hands and feet”, and was able to have good night sleep. Now even my 10-year-old daughter is enjoying the h-bath every night.

What other health benefits did we get from the h-bath practice? I lost 17 lbs in 8 months and also was relieved of shoulder pain I had for more than 15 years. Best of all, is the daily stress management by the h-bath. As mentioned previously, my wife was finally relieved of “cold hands and feet” (Raynaud’s disease), as well as the long-time-suffering of GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease), a.k.a. acid reflux. We both gained much more energy than we previously had. Of course, I also did a daily exercise of 30 minutes of walking combined with 30 minutes of the h-bath. I am sure that the h-bath had a synergic effect in my weight loss.

Since I am not an exercise orientated person, like many of you, I knew that both walking and the h-bath were programs I could continue. My daily walking program is not strenuous; rather it is a relaxing slow walk of 30 minutes around the work place or on the treadmill during a lunch break. At night, I did 30 minutes of h-bath everyday. That’s it! I feel much energized now.

I am a scientist, majored in the medical sciences and quite often I couldn’t control the stress from research, discussions, and presentations and so on, until I started the h-bath. I never knew that a bath could be fun. Different from ordinary whole-body-bath, your arms and hands are free, which means you can read a magazine, book etc and fully enjoy the half bath experience.

I want to share the experiences and science of the h-bath with you and recommend the h-bath for healthier you. Best of all, you don’t need to purchase any special equipment for the h-bath, but you should learn proper instructions to start.

What is the half-body-bath (h-bath)?

The main purpose of taking a bath is to sanitize the body. After a bath, we feel relax and relieved of day to day stress. This implies that a bath has a stress relief effect. Fatigue can be relieved when submerging your whole body into the tub-full of hot water. And a bubble bath or few drops of essence oils can also help you to be relaxed. You may have experienced falling asleep while taking a bath, right? Taking a bath is not only good for cleaning purposes, but also for mental health.

The history of submerging-body-bath is older than we think. According to the history records, there was a public bath in Rome, AD 300. The ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes shouted “Eureka, eureka!” when he found the principle of buoyancy (Archimedes’ principle), while he was taking a bath. For a long time, taking a bath meant whole-body-bath (w-bath), which is submerging a body up to the neck. In the early 1980’s, Dr. Yoshiharu Shindo, an ENT clinician, established a revolutionary bathing method, the half-body-bath (h-bath). Dr. Shindo mentions this in his first book, [Remedy for all diseases - controlling the thermodynamics of the body];

“I have been suffering from the “cold hands and feet” especially during the winter, so I used to wear long boots and thick cloths. And, finally came across the thought that what if I warm up the lower-half-body in the bath. It was cold winter, but I tried everyday. I thought that winter is the best time to test the effect of the h-bath, since it is the most severe season for the “cold hands and feet”. After many trial and errors, I concluded that maximum effect can be obtained by using warm water (100-104oF = 38-40oC), which is slightly higher than the body temperature. And keep the water level up to the 3-4 inches above the belly button, and then stay in the water for 20-30 minutes.

I even tried that when I got a common cold. After 20-30 minutes for the h-bath, I started to sweat a lot, and experienced a complete cure from fever & cold the next day. I was also relieved of the shoulder and upper arm pains. They were gone after few months of the h-bath. Of course, a common cold is not the problem anymore. I used take a short nap during the day to have enough energy for the rest of the day, but after continuing the h-bath, I realized I could keep up my activity without a nap. After I investigated the relationship between coldness and diseases, I am assured that the unbalance of the thermodynamics of the body is what causes many diseases. By fixing this heat unbalance by the h-bath, many diseases related to thermal unbalance can be cured naturally. This can be confirmed through the observation of my patients. In combination with conventional medical treatments, the h-bath enhances the cure index in the most of respiratory diseases including common cold”.

Dr. Shindo not only found that the h-bath primarily controlled his “cold hands and feet”, the so called ‘Raynaud’s disease’, but he realized that the h-bath helped to restore the human body naturally by equilibrating body heat.

Blood flow is a prime method of distributing heat evenly throughout the body. Poor blood flow can cause a reduction in the temperature of the extremities, and researchers theorized that poor blood circulation can cause cold hands and feet, subsequently causing other problems such as insomnia. Needless to say, the heart is responsible for the delivering of “warm blood” throughout the body. However, for some reason, it does not go flow through to the end of the body, like the hands and feet. If you take thermography of the whole body, you can see that the heat distribution of the body is not even. The upper body has higher temperature (98.6 oF = 37 oC around the heart), however lower body has comparatively low temperature; especially the temperature of the feet which is below 87.8 oF (31 oC).

Japan was built up from volcanic eruptions, and has many naturally formed hot springs all around the country. So over a long period of time, they developed unique bathing culture. Taking a bath is a daily part of a life in Japan. Paradoxically, on average 10,000 people die in the bath every year. The majority of people who die in the bath are elderly, mainly caused by cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction and cerebral hemorrhage etc. If so, is taking a bath deadly for elderly?

The answer is “it depends on the way of bathing”. A traditional w-bath can produce a lot of stress to the heart, mainly caused by water pressure. Since the whole body is warmed up from the w-bath at the same time the heart is experiencing stress, the heart beat rate and blood pressure rapidly increases and sometimes can cause cardiac or vascular problems. Besides, body heat can hardly be equilibrated since 85 - 90% of your body is submerged in the same temperature, and head is the only place to get the extreme blood stream and excess heat.

However, with an h-bath, the blood circulation increases gradually and reasonably with less stress to the heart and also does not provide the added stress of the water pressure. According to scientists, the h-bath does not significantly increase the blood pressure, shown by measuring cardiograph during the h-bath. The h-bath is comparatively safe, and is hugely effective for blood circulation. However, it doesn’t mean that the h-bath is “totally safe” for elderly and cardiovascular disease patients. Consult your doctor prior to start the h-bath.

The h-bath has spread all around Japan, Korea and China in a short time period. Millions of people continue the h-bath everyday and are accumulating their experiences and pre-scientific data. According to the h-bath people’s network, the h-bath is very effective in weight loss, improving skin health, helps to decrease the discomfort during a woman’s menstrual cycle, and lowers the blood pressure by enhancing the blood circulation in general.

There is no need to purchase expensive equipment for the h-bath. A bathtub and warm water are basically enough. A thermometer, reading materials and a rubber ducky are optional. The rest is continuing the h-bath with consistency and making this part of your daily activity.

Is Natural Weight Loss Really Possible?

Is Natural Weight Loss Really Possible? this article was written By Armand Dupuis and he writes "Natural Weight Loss Is Permanent

Only natural weight loss can be permanent. Going on diets and taking weight loss pills to eliminate food cravings is only temporary and leads to obesity.

Not only is natural weight loss safe, but you’ll eliminate food cravings without taking weight loss pills.
Most weight loss systems are not natural, and that’s why the “failure rate” is over 98%.

There are no diets whatsoever, which lead to natural weight loss, because every single diet slows down your metabolism, which means that when you go off the diet, you will eventually gain back more weight than you lost..

How many people do you know, who actually kept it off?
So, dieting is just not an option, if you want to keep the weight off for good.

Weight Loss Pills
Most weight loss pills or diet pills are nothing more than appetite suppressants, which help to take away food cravings so that you don’t eat, or don’t eat as much.

So in reality, what you’ve done by taking weight loss pills, is actually putting yourself on a very drastic starvation diet, during which your body is getting progressively more starved for nutrition, and also...

Your metabolism will slow down to a crawl, and that’s your guarantee that when you go off the weight loss pills, you are going to blow up like a balloon, and eventually gain all the weight back, plus a few extra pounds as a bonus.

Food Supplements
Taking a safe and healthy food supplement that your body can absorb, can really enhance a good natural weight loss program, because the extra nutrition will help your body to become more nutritionally satisfied.

This will help to eliminate food cravings without taking weight loss pills. Cutting back on food cravings by becoming more nutritionally satisfied, means that...

You won’t slow down your metabolism, and you won’t have the same problem with regaining the weight.

The problem however...
Is that most food supplements are not absorbed very well by your body. When you take a Vitamin and Mineral supplement for example, most people are only able to absorb between 4 to 5%, so it’s a total waste of money, plus...

If you are not absorbing the supplement, it will definitely not help to eliminate food cravings, so you’re no further ahead.

In the Slim America Weight-Loss Project, we only recommend natural food supplements which are fully absorbed by the body. As a result, these totally safe food supplements really help to enhance and speed up our natural weight-loss program, and also...

Not only are food cravings greatly reduced, but our students are reporting lots of extra energy, more stamina, and are finding it much easier to stay away from junk foods which provide very little nutrition, but really help to put on the pounds.

Exercise for Natural Weight Loss
Proper exercise is an essential ingredient in any natural weight-loss program, because there is no way that the weight loss will be permanent without exercise, and that’s a fact.

But here’s the problem...
Over 95% of all the weight loss exercises, that people do in order to burn off fat, actually burn almost no fat whatsoever. Most of these exercises burn almost exclusively sugar, and that’s why it’s so hard to get rid of the fat.

For most people who are overweight, especially if you’re obese, doing all the normal weight loss exercises like running, swimming, playing sports, using all the fancy exercise equipment in gyms, weight lifting etc., are practically useless for getting rid of fat.

Most of these exercises are very hard to do, require a lot of work, and a lot of sweating, for very little results. For sure, if you stick to it long enough it will certainly help, however...

The results are so minimal for most people that 99% of people will give up long before achieving any realistic results.

In the Slim America Weight-Loss Project, we only recommend walking for weight loss, however just normal walking is not very effective either.

In the Slim America Project, we actually teach 10 secrets about walking, which not only help to turn walking into a very effective fat burner, but more importantly, also helps to rebuild your metabolism.

Walking for weight loss has to be part of any natural weight loss system because it helps to turn your body into an effective fat burning machine, which will cause you to burn more fat during the whole day.

Complete Natural Weight Loss
Only a complete and natural weight loss system which is totally safe, without the use of weight-loss pills to eliminate food cravings, and which includes a good walking program will result in permanent weight loss...

And also...
You don’t have to become a “health nut”, to succeed!
Have a Great Life

Natural Weight Loss: Little Spice in Your Life?

Natural Weight Loss: Little Spice in Your Life? article was qritten by Michel Landry and he writes "Not everyone can handle hot food. But who said cayenne had to be on your food ? I have checked it out and some people add it to there water with a splash of lemon to mask the taste. And it is not noticeable at all. Some people doing this cant handle hot or spicy at all , but have found the benefits in incorporating cayenne into there daily schedule. Some weight loss products have it, along with other Natural ingredients. And I will tell you this, they cant keep the NATURAL products on the shelves. Store and Internet sales for Natural weight loss products are not slowing down.

So as cayenne being one of the ingredients making a difference in the weight and health market, I thought you should know what it can do for you. And it doesn’t have to be the “HOT” spice on your food, but the spice that is helping you have a healthier and improved life.

Cayenne Pepper, which is actually a berrie, is also known as Capsicum, and Hot or Red Pepper. It is used as a spice and a dietary supplement. Cayenne Pepper contains beta-carotene, beta-ionone, citric acid, hesperidin, imonen, lutein, and quercetin just to name a few. It also contains capsaicin which reduces pain and inflammation..

Cayenne Pepper has been known for its ability to aid in digestion, improve circulation, and reduce or stop bleeding from stomach ulcers. Taken internally it stimulates circulation and induces sweating to breed a fever. Some native people of Thailand believe that eating Cayenne everyday helps reduce blood cots. Herbalists recommend it to treat colds and infectious diarrhea, arthritis and rheumatism.

There is scientific evidence that suggests adding Cayenne Pepper to meals boosts vitamin C levels and revs up the metabolism. This pepper is also used with lobelia to help soothe nerves. It is beneficial for the heart, kidneys, lungs, pancreas, spleen, and stomach. In naturopathic medicine, Cayenne Pepper is combined with lemon juice, and salt to relieve even the worst sore throat pain for up to 4 hours.

It also fights viral infection. When applied topically in a lotion or salve Cayenne works to soothe muscle aches and pains associated with arthritis, rheumatism, backache, strains and sprains.

So how bad does this “Hot” spice sound now? Not that bad at all. And you would be shocked what a little of it will do for your health.

Home Weight Loss Naturally was

Home Weight Loss - Naturally was written by Alevoor Rajagopal and he writes "Modern lifestyles cultivate such habits that are hard to give a skip and to unhealthy practices. Today many view weight control diets as something difficult to practice and that, as something where in you need to keep account of all that you eat. But think of this. Obesity is not fun and good health does not come cheap. Surrendering to quick fix pills like sympathomimetic amine or amphetamine is a serious mistake if you don’t consider the side effects. It works by stimulating central nervous system to increase blood pressure and heart beats and thereby reducing appetite. Naturally, you can’t compromise on your own health. Look around for a natural way to weight loss.

There are yogic and naturopathic weight loss programs you can adapt. These are systematic by nature and not harsh on your physiology. These systems involve using water predominantly for treatment. Systematic washing/cleansing of stomach, colon and lungs help clean them of acids, semi/fully digested residual waste etc. Removal of waste coat facilitates fresh and more secretion of digestive juices. Repeat this under expert monitoring and schedule. Take up some classes in yoga asanas..

On the other hand, the naturopathy is a wee bit different from yoga. It requires that you drink a lot of water (sun charged water, green water and yellow/orange), take chromotherapy (a system of treatment through sunrays) and subjective cold or hot/steam baths. Fasting and enema are two other things in schedule for natural weight loss program.

As you can see, all of the above steps in the natural weight loss program help in cleansing or ridding the body from toxic and morbid matters and reducing fat. Before I conclude, I think it would not be fair enough if I don’t mention the natural weight loss program that the General Motors has conducted for its employees. It was an all vegetable, no exercise and no chemical treatment program of seven days. In the end most of them lost 5-6 pounds of weight with nothing to regret about.

The author Rajgopal had been writing on technical matters and in this avtar he gave up tags that confine to particular genre of writing. Rajgopal is a mechanical engineer and served the pharmaceutical industry. Oflate he has been putting his efforts in to creative art and healthcare writing. Natural Weight Loss is Not a Diet Pill

Natural Weight Loss is Not a Diet Pill has written By Janice Elizabeth Small Platinum and she writes "It's ironic, isn't it, that when you search for "natural weight loss" online you see a load of ads for pharmaceutical products. Since when did natural come in pill form?

Real natural weight loss starts in your head when you decide that you'll do whatever it takes to lose weight by changing the quality and quantity of food you eat and the amount of exercise you take.

You naturally lose weight when you do what is good for you most of the time and gain it just as naturally when you don't..

Now that's easy to say and not so easy to do when you want to lose weight and your normal inclination and habit is to do what you know you shouldn't.

You can use all the willpower you like in your weight loss program but, if you are forcing yourself too far out of your comfort zone, you'll be going against the grain and making life exceedingly tough for yourself.

Most people give up on any weight loss regime that forces them to make huge changes to their lifestyle and routine well before they've reached their target weight - if they even get past the first two weeks.

Instead of pills and punishing diets and workouts, you need a weight loss program which takes into account the natural human tendency to resist change. And this means taking things one step at a time, building up good habits until they feel part of your normal routine. It means gradually switching to moderate quantities of healthy natural foods. It means starting to move a little more than you do just now and building that up each day.

Natural weight loss occurs when you have built up the habits that support it. It feels great to lose weight that way and what's more the changes you make to your habits stay with you - they are permanent and you never need to think about clicking on those natural weight loss diet pill ads ever again!

Natural Weight Loss - It's Easier Than You Think!

Natural Weight Loss - It's Easier Than You Think! has written By Robert Kokoska Platinum and he writes "There are literally thousands of weight loss programs out there today - which shows that losing weight is an almost universal preoccupation! When you examine what many of these programs are all about, though, you can see why people who lose weight typically are not able to keep it off for good. Unlike natural weight loss, many weight loss programs emphasize special products such as meal replacements or supplements. The problem is that no one can stay with this type of program for life - and as soon as you get off the weigh loss program, the weight is likely to creep back on, and you're back where you started.

Natural weight loss is different. With natural weight loss, you use the simplest principle of all - the fact that, in order to lose weight, you must use more calories than you take in. You make this principle work in your favor, and you can do this in one of two ways. You can either eat less - and that doesn't mean cutting out or minimizing entire food groups, but just eating less of whatever you happen to be eating - or you can exercise more. To be really successful, of course, you should do both..

To limit how much you eat, the simplest and most natural technique is this: eat only when you're hungry, and when you're not hungry anymore, stop eating. It sounds simple and logical - but it's amazing how few of us actually do this! This natural weight loss technique has one great advantage - it teaches you to listen to your body. Given the chance, your body will tell you when and how much you need to eat. No book can tell you that. After all, your needs vary from day to day. Some people have a 'hungry day' followed by a 'not hungry' day, and that's waht's natural for them. 'Naturally' thin people are those who habitually listen to their bodies.

The natural way to exercise is to do it often, but at a low intensity. Throughout most of human history, people didn't visit the gym, but they did move around all day, every day - they walked or rode everywhere, for one thing. And most of these people were not overweight. You can do the same. One way to do this is to establish a certain 'minimum distance' for driving, and stick to it. For example, you can decide never to drive if your destination is closer than ten blocks. Of course, there will be exceptions, but just following a policy like this most of the time will inject a lot of extra exercise into your day.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you're serious about losing weight, there are 3 things, when combined, can make your battle much, much easier. The first is Hoodia Gordoni. Hoodia reduces your appetite in minutes, causing you to eat less. The second is Weight Loss Patch Pro that boosts your metabolism so that you burn the maximum amount of fat each day. The third important ingredient is Dietrine carb blocker, which blocks most of the fat and carbohydrates in the food you eat from going into your body.

Lose Weight with a Natural Weight Loss Remedy

Lose Weight with a Natural Weight Loss Remedy has written By Michael Bens and he writes "Garcinia cambogia is a natural weight loss supplement that is making headlines in North America and Europe. Though not a magic bullet by any means, studies show that garcinia cambogia can be effective in helping people lose weight in two basic ways – first, it blocks the conversion of sugar and refined carbohydrates into fat during metabolism, and second, it may help suppress appetite by raising the brain chemical level of serotonin. Seratonin is a substance that we get by eating certain foods – turkey is the most famous example, but by no means the only one – and it also calms you down.

This is very significant, because some studies indicate that overweight people overeat because they feel anxious, and the serotonin in food is a way for them to self-soothe in order to calm down. If serotonin can be obtained by taking garcinia cambogia, people who engage in this type of adaptive overeating may well be able to overcome their problem. The active ingredient in garcinia cambogia – the ingredient that causes these effects – is known as HCA. It has been tested in a lab situation, and on both human and animal subjects.

Though there are those that swear by it, at this point, there is a bit of confusion over whether garcinia cambogia really does help people lose weight. To date, several studies have been done, but evidence is mixed. Almost ten years ago, one study was done of 60 individuals, and it did seem as though they lost more weight as compared to people who took a placebo. However, subsequent tests didn’t yield the same result. One suggestion is that this might be because the people in that test were on a high-fiber diet. That may be true, because the fiber could conceivably have swept the supplement from the body too soon, before it could do its work. Overall, however, most studies do show that there is some weight loss with the use of garcinia cambogia, and that this is accelerated if a low carbohydrate diet is followed. The diet need not be as low in carbs as Atkins, however; the important thing seems to be to avoid excessive sugars and refined carbohydrates. If you do that, then the supplement can take care of any sugars that you do eat, preventing them from being turned into fat.

Garcinia cambogia is a natural substance; it comes from the rind of a fruit that is grown in India and parts of Africa. Apparently, it was a folk remedy in those parts that was discovered by westerners in the past few decades, and refined into a form that can be easily taken as a dietary supplement. Though garcinia cambogia may well make you lose weight, and should be considered particularly if you tend to eat out of a sense of anxiety (that is, if you eating tends to be emotional rather than hunger-based) and if you, furthermore, tend to accumulate weight around your belly. Belly fat, besides being unattractive, is a bad thing from a health standpoint too. It usually indicates that your insulin levels are not adequately dealing with the level of sugar and starch that you are consuming, so these substances are being turned into fat instead. Over time, this means that you may be at higher risk of contracting diabetes, because that disorder is also caused by insufficient in inefficient insulin response.

Furthermore, carrying weight around the belly (like diabetes itself) is a risk factor for heart disease. To avoid contracting either of these potentially fatal conditions, try to regulate your intake of sugars and refined starches. Garcinia cambogia can help, too – it doesn’t regulate insulin response, but it can help you avoid accumulating fat in that area by stopping the formation of fat as a result of sugar and starch intake.

Garcinia cambogia is available from a variety or retail or internet sources. There are several brands available, with little difference between them. However, if you have a naturopath or natural pharmacy that you trust, you would do well to ask them about the specific product that they recommend. There are no known side effects of garcinia cambogia, so you can feel free to take it without worrying about any ill effects.

Natural Weight Loss, Easy Weight Loss, the List Goes on But What Really Gets You there?

Natural Weight Loss, Easy Weight Loss, the List Goes on But What Really Gets You there? has written by Thomas Kersting Platinum and he writes "I’ve always been a fan of hard work. Hard work has helped me achieve many things in my life, and there is no greater satisfaction than achieving a goal that was challenging. A feeling that cutting-corners can never bring.

These days we are bombarded with quick-fix messages from the media. Messages and scams that claim to bring easy weight loss, financial wealth, make us social butterflies, and achieve our dreams. Go out and buy the latest “ab machine” and before long you’ll have abs like Jessica Simpson. Try the “Money Making Secret,” and in no time you’ll be cruising the Caribbean on your private yacht, sipping martinis. There’s even some new pill out there that claims to turn you into “the life of the party” if you’re a little bit shy.

People are willing to try anything to get results except for the one thing that always works— good old-fashioned hard work. But it makes sense that we shy away from this because we can’t seem to escape all of the tempting “miracle solutions.” And they are so very convincing. You can’t turn on the television these days without seeing a commercial for some pill that claims to relieve stress, cure depression, help you with women’s issues and especially—help you to lose weight. And these commercials are so general that they apply to all of us and have us wondering hmmm….. maybe I am sad; maybe I am having trouble sleeping; maybe I could be a little more outgoing. Maybe this. Maybe that. But the ones that get me the most are those outrageous claims to weight-loss; the ones that claim that natural weight loss can be found in a pill.

I’ve come across countless people who pop diet pills like candy because they’ve “tried everything” but still can’t find that easy weight loss solution. When I ask them if they tried exercising most will say, “exercise? Are you kidding? I hate exercising.” And the truth always comes out with those who claim that they do exercise: there’s just no consistency. Putting on the running sneakers once a month is not exactly the definition of “an exerciser.”

Let’s be honest for a moment here. Are we suckers? Are we really that naïve that we believe a “super pill” is going to lead to easy weight loss? Or are we just getting plain lazy? If we’re not willing to “work” for something than it means we really don’t want it bad enough. It’s as simple as that. You’re not going to lose 30 pounds or get rock-hard abs if you don’t get on a treadmill or do sit-ups. That’s the reality. And I can assure you; pills aren’t going bring you natural weight loss.

This quick-fix world of ours is making our heads spin. We need to return to reality folks. We need to analyze what is really important to us and then work towards achieving it. In this life, there is no quick fix. Easy weight loss cannot be found in a bottle."

How to Curb Food Cravings at Night to Lose Weight Naturally

How to Curb Food Cravings at Night to Lose Weight Naturally has written By Jamie Clark and he writes "Wanna lose weight naturally and more quickly? Then you've got to control your nighttime food cravings! All food cravings are diet-killers, but the ones that hit you late at night seem to be the toughest to overcome. What's worse, late-night eating has been shown to be a leading cause of weight gain. Your body has much less need for calories at night, so anything you eat is more likely to be stored as fat.

According to a recent USDA study, overweight adults tend to eat significantly more calories at night than normal-weight adults, but they eat only slightly more calories at other times of the day. Another recent study from the University of Texas showed that it's much easier to overeat at night, mainly because late-night snacking seems less satisfying than snacking earlier in the day. Other studies have found that many people eat close to 50% of their daily calories at night!

Obviously, controlling your nighttime eating is vital if your goal is natural weight loss and better health. Of course, it's easier said than done. Here are some very effective tips for curbing food cravings at night:

1. Eat breakfast -- It's been proven that people who skip breakfast have a much harder time losing weight. By eating a big, healthy breakfast in the morning you'll give your body the energy it needs and dramatically reduce hunger and cravings later in the day..

2. Eat several small, healthy snacks and meals throughout the day -- People who eat small meals and snacks every few hours, earlier in the day, tend to feel better and have more energy. They also tend to eat fewer overall calories, especially at night. Keeping yourself from getting hungry may be the best craving-stopping technique out there!

3. Eat a "healthy-sized" dinner -- Don't make the mistake of eating too small of a dinner. You might think you're saving calories but you're just setting yourself up for hunger and food cravings later in the evening. Eat a good, medium-sized dinner that includes lots of high-fiber foods (like veggies, salads, and whole-grain breads, pastas, etc.). It's best to eat more protein and less fat and carbs at this meal because it's less likely to be stored as fat.

4. Keep your mind occupied at night -- Many people have a bad habit of eating when they're bored. They get home at night and "zone out" in front of the TV, often with a bag of chips or cookies at their side. It's called "mindless snacking" and it's a huge cause of weight gain, especially in America. Avoid the TV all together and replace it with something more interesting, like reading a good book, writing letters to friends, or doing a favorite hobby.

5. If you need to snack at night, choose healthy options -- It is possible to snack late at night without piling on the calories (and the fat). Fresh veggies and fruit are good, great-tasting options. So is low-fat, low-sugar yogurt and cheese. If you need something a little more "satisfying" have a piece of whole-grain toast with a small amount of natural peanut butter on top, a handful of mixed nuts, or a bowl of whole-grain cereal with low-fat milk. Finally, some people find that a cup of decaffeinated herbal tea really helps take their mind off food altogether.

How To Lose Weight Naturally

How To Lose Weight Naturally has written By Tim Lee Platinum and he writes "Losing weight and managing to keep off the pounds has become an unreachable dream for most people. No matter what weight loss control program they go into, losing weight seems to be next to impossible.

For weight watchers who have been into a merry go round of various weight loss programs, losing weight is already a lost battle. They have done anything and everything to keep of the pounds without success that winning such battle would already be considered a miracle.

The present lifestyle as well as busy schedules of most people has forced them to eat anything that can be heated in the microwave for ten minutes, fried in succulent oil in five minutes or those foods that can be eaten immediately out of the can.

This lifestyle and food preferences has caused the rise in obesity cases all over the world. Along with obesity come the inevitable ailments like high blood pressure, diabetes, high uric acid and heart ailments, Added to that are the feelings of insecurity, inadequacy and depression due to being called a fatso..

The battle against fat has become so widespread and difficult that most people would ask if there is a way to keep weight gain and obesity from destroying their lives. There are people who have resorted to liposuction and non surgical ways of keeping the pounds off. Others have their usual doses of slimming pills and shakes.

If you are one of those who want to win over the battle of the bulge, then you may just find the solution with natural weight loss programs. Natural weight loss programs are called as such because they do not rely on artificial slimming pills, food or surgery to keep the fat off. Being on a natural weight loss program means taking advantage of what nature has to remain fit and not fat.

Other people go on diet by eating foods that are low in fat and high in calories. Rice-eating people prefer going on a low carbohydrate diet. Others stick to a high fiber diet or a no-eating after six in the evening diet. These diets may be natural but it only helps the dieter for a month or two and then the pounds keep coming back. This is because most diets allow a temporary weight loss that only targets the loss of water, body tissues and even muscles. Losing muscle is not the right thing because it lowers a person's metabolic rate or capacity to burn calories. When a person's metabolism drops, weight gain will surely follow.

Most people binge on food when they are depressed or in the middle of a stressful negotiation or occurrence in their lives. To avoid binging on food and gaining weight in the process, you must solve your problem and find ways to get over your depression. A person's self control can sometimes be the key to weight loss.

A natural way to keep the fats out of your belly is to eat more food. However, the foods you should eat should come from a certain category of food which they call non-caloric food. The name is really a misnomer because all foods have caloric, vitamins or mineral contents. However, such food groups are known as zero-caloric foods because the calories required to burn them is more than the caloric content of such food.

Among these zero-caloric foods are broccoli, asparagus, cucumber, pineapple, cabbage, apples, zucchini, lettuce and carrots. By eating more of these foods you satiate yourself and do not deprive your eating urges. However, the result is that you burn more calories as these foods require more calories to burn.

Natural Weight Loss: It's All in Your Head

Natural Weight Loss: It's All in Your Head has written by Thomas Kersting and he writes "Sitting on your shoulders is a loaded gun. A weapon. A part of your mind that is itching for you to grab its triggers and start gunning down cravings, bad eating habits and stress. A part that will lead you to healthy weight loss. We’ve all heard of this part of the mind before. It’s called the subconscious. But it’s a mystery of sorts. Something that we know exists but we just can’t put our finger on. We’re not sure how to access its arsenal. Not until now that is. The best part of all, once you begin to use this “mysterious” subconscious of yours it won’t seem like a mystery anymore. And, you won’t need to diet and yo-yo anymore. Instead, your discipline, motivation and self-control will emerge and you will discover the key to natural weight loss. So how do you go about using your subconscious, you might be wondering? Read on.

Your subconscious mind is something you use constantly. You just don’t realize it. In fact 90 percent of all that we do is governed by the subconscious and it’s actually quite easy to access. There are just three things you need to do to make it work for you—especially for losing weight.

1. Relaxation: Relaxation pretty much summarizes what subconscious thought is. Whenever you are relaxed, your brainwave activity naturally decreases. This is reminiscent of being in a trance state, a subconscious state. It is here that the mind is most receptive to new images and stimuli. Unlike your conscious mind, your subconscious is uncritical. It does not analyze or critique. It just accepts. Now there are numerous ways to bring about deep levels of relaxation, or shall I say—subconsciousness. One that I use with my clients is called progressive relaxation. Progressive relaxation is much like meditation and involves scanning the body from head to toe and relaxing each part. When you do this, your mind naturally drifts into a deep trance-like state, making it super receptive to what you tell it and leading you towarrd easy weight loss.

2. Imagery: So how do you instruct your subconscious to make easy weight loss a reality? One effective way is through imagery. Your subconscious can’t tell the difference between what is real or imagined. Let me give you an example. Have you ever read a Steven King Horror or a Mary Higgins-Clark Suspense? Did you ever get frightened or feel like you had to hold-on to the edge of your seat? Sure you did and these reactions were very real. Yet what caused them is not real, it’s imagery. You see, any time you’re reading a book or watching a movie, for example, your mind drifts into a light, trance state, making it super receptive. Essentially, you react to something that isn’t real in a very real way. This is exactly how this stuff is going to help you lose weight. This is what Power Programming your mind is all about and it is the only natural weight loss system there is.

Here’s how it works for weight-loss. While you’re in your subconscious state of mind you can imagine yourself sitting at the dinner table, eating slowly and leaving food on your plate. You can imagine yourself looking in the freezer without any temptation to dive into that pint of Ben & Jerry’s. You get the picture. You’ll be surprised just how well you will respond to these kinds of images. It will seem too easy.

3. Suggestion: Suggestions are direct commands that you feed your mind while in your relaxed, subconscious state. You can say things like, “from now on I am always in control of what I eat”, or I feel perfectly fine avoiding those late-night snacks”, or “I enjoy fruits and vegetables more than ever.” Natural weight loss will be the end product.

Remember, every action we take is mind over matter. Your mind is a powerful computer that only you know the password to. By working with you mind, you’ll find that you can make changes that you never thought possible. All you have to do is dedicate 10 or 15 minutes of your time a day, 3 days a week, and natural weight loss will result.

All Natural Weight Loss Supplement - Hoodia Gordonii

All Natural Weight Loss Supplement - Hoodia Gordonii by Paul Callis and he writes In my time I have been an international competitive swimmer, ranked number 1 in the UK, in the top 20 worldwide, represented England, and won medals at World level. Having been in the environment of top class athletes, and everyday healthy people, I have become very knowledgeable in the area of nutrition and fitness. Still maintaining regular fitness and excellent nutritional levels, I regularly converse with many people of all types of fitness levels. The majority, at fitness centers, are obese and vastly over weight, constantly looking for ways to lose weight.

Spending years training in public, and seeing bodily changes on a day to day basis, I have become very familiar with Hoodia Gordonii, and have seen rapid improvements, that have in turn had life changing effects on people, and all for the better.

You may be wondering what Hoodia Gordonii is, and may have heard from the newspapers and television..

It is grown in the Kalahari Desert region of South Africa, Hoodia Gordonii is an all-natural appetite suppressant, derived from a cactus-like plant with prickly spikes. Scientists have been researching the Hoodia plant for almost a decade, and have found it to be completely free of harmful side effects.

The active ingredient in Hoodia Gordonii, the molecule known as P57, imitates the effects that glucose has on your brain, signaling that you are full. Your brain has what is called a Hypothalamus. This part of your brain controls your appetite. When you eat, the glucose levels in your body rise. As these levels go up, the hypothalamus sends off a signal to your cells to stop eating. This is when you start to feel full. Hoodia Gordonii's molecule, P57, tells your brain the same exact thing, even if you haven't eaten a bite. By mimicking the effects of glucose on your brain, the hypothalamus starts to send messages to your cells which in turn, make you feel full.

How To Lose Weight Easily, Quickly And Naturally Program - Natural Weight Loss

How To Lose Weight Easily, Quickly And Naturally Program - Natural Weight Loss has written by: Chris Chew and he writes "It is easy to lose weight quickly and naturally if you have a systematic weight loss program. Many people failed to lose weight successfully because of the natural tendency to choose easy quick fix programs such as going on drastic diets, popping diet pills or persuaded to buy some exercise gadgets that simply do not work. In my other articles, I have addressed these issues and why such easy quick fix programs simply do not work in the long term and will not repeat them here.

To lose weight quickly, naturally and easily, you have to combine a healthy eating habit, correct cardio and strengthening exercises. We shall touch on the subject of how to lose weight quickly and naturally through a healthy eating program in this article.

• Increase Your Metabolism – Eat 5-6 small meals daily. It has been scientifically proven that by eating frequently, you will raise your body’s natural metabolism. That means your body will burn more fat naturally. You become a fat burning machine all day long..

• Eat Less Calories – Although you need to increase meal frequency to lose weight naturally, you must be mindful of your caloric consumption. Calories consumed must not exceed calories expanded for your daily energy. So keep your meals small and cut down on dietary fats as each gram of fat contains 9 calories whereas each gram of protein and carbohydrate contains only 4 calories.

• Avoid Starchy And Processed Flour Foodstuffs – These foodstuffs are easy to digest and turn into sugar rapidly and in turn get converted to body fat if these sugar calories are not used up as energy quickly. So ditch your cakes, cookies, pizzas, pastas, white rice etc Replace them with high fiber bread, legumes, brown rice, grains and nuts instead. So stay away from fast food restaurants as most fast food menus offer such foodstuff.

• Avoid All Sugary and Soft Drinks – Reason is obvious. Most if not all of these kind of drinks are heavily laced with sugar and sugar gets converted to body fat very quickly. You have to run on the treadmill for 20-30 minutes just to burn away a can’s worth of calories in a soft drink. Just imagine how much body fat you will accumulate if you drink just three cans of soft drinks a day along with 2 cups of sugar added coffee?

• Avoid All Forms Of Alcohol – There are about 7 calories in a gram of alcohol. Alcohol calories have zero nutritional value. They are just mere empty calories. Indulging in regular alcohol consumption not only wrecks your health, it will set back your weight loss program completely.

Oh….so you think this eating habit is difficult to implement or that you will miss your sugary foodstuffs and soft drinks? Not to worry. You may experience some withdrawal symptoms at first but after a week or two, you will be weaned off your sugar and simple carbohydrate cravings. Once your addictions to these foods are curbed, you will no longer have your sweet tooth and will naturally avoid such foodstuff.

Just by following these healthy eating habits, you will start to lose weight easily, quickly and naturally. Include cardio and weight lifting exercises into your weight loss program and your weight loss will be permanent.

Caralluma Fimbriata A New Natural Weight Loss Aid

Caralluma Fimbriata A New Natural Weight Loss Aid has written by Bill Herren and he writes "You are likely to be seeing a new ingredient in some weight loss supplements by the name of Caralluma Fimbriata. Caralluma Fimbriata is similar to hoodia in that it is a natural appetite suppressant.

Caralluma Fimbriata is said to be a vegetable that is used daily in tribal India. It is eaten in several different forms and it is said that it is used by tribesman in the same way Hoodia is used in other parts of the world – Tribesman will consume it before a long hunt to curb the appetite.

A company named Gencor Pacific USA has created a brand called Slimaluma ™ which is a standardized extract of Caralluma Fimbriata. Caralluma Fimbriata already has some studies behind it that makes it look very promising in the world of weight loss dietary supplements..

If you have tried Hoodia and did not have any success, you may want to try Caralluma Fimbriata before giving up on an all natural appetite stimulant. Currently there are not many products on the market containing Caralluma Fimbriata but I suspect that will change in the near future. We will probably start seeing combination products which contain other well known weight loss supplements such as green tea, Citrimax, and Chromium.

Remember that weight loss supplements usually target different areas. Some are considered fat burners, some inhibit the absorption of carbs or fat, and some are appetite suppressants. Caralluma Fimbriata is for people who want help in controlling their appetite.

We may see Caralluma Fimbriata combined with ingredients designed to burn fat, absorb carbs, etc. Keep in mind what your goal is before purchasing a weight loss supplement and you will probably not be disappointed with the results. It appears Caralluma Fimbriata will be affordable and the dosages will be reasonable. It appears that dosages are going to be around 1 gram per day. The manufacturers will probably recommend divided doses throughout the day but be sure and follow the directions on the bottle.

Natural Weight Loss A Diabetic Perspective

Natural Weight Loss A Diabetic Perspective has written By Bentley Thompson and he writes "For natural weight loss, you don't need special diets. You need the tortoise mindset and, very possibly, a new wardrobe.

Okay, raise your hand if you think a natural weight loss method is better for a diabetic than an "un-natural" one. Good, almost everyone raised their hand.

Now, I cannot find where anyone has properly defined the term natural weight loss, so I have to give you my definition. Simply put, it is the opposite of natural weight gain.

This consideration excludes the loss of weight gained during pregnancy or removal of heavy clothing or jewelry (if that's possible). Even though shedding the weight gained by those means could be considered "natural," we will confine this argument to the process of reversing obesity without surgery, pills, or potions..

By natural weight loss I also mean much more than the temporary results implied and delivered by many Internet weight loss programs. People with real life issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease, do not need temporary weight loss. We need long term results.

If you just want to lose some weight so you can appear on the Oprah Show, or American Idol, then health may be secondary. A natural weight loss approach may not get you there in two weeks, so the claims of the quick weight loss diets on the Internet might look more appealing.

If you need to change your lifestyle, you're talking about a change in life habits. For long term or permanent benefits, your diet should pattern the way we were created to eat. You should follow the natural laws of health.

Remember the tortoise

The weight loss ads often conjure speed. "Quick weight loss" is an attention getter on any form of advertising. It glosses over the risks associated with removal of tissue that has been deposited over many months and years.

But for effective and permanent results, there almost always has to be a change in behavior as well. This means running like the tortoise and not like the hare.

Don't take the circular route

Many popular weight loss products and programs work on a cycle. It's like going around in circles. The result they produce is cyclical.

Unlike natural weight loss methods, they make you lose weight by stimulating hyperactivity. You then expend more energy than you would normally. So you burn more calories and you do lose weight.

The problem with this is that it's not normal to be stimulated like this all the rest of your life. After you lose some weight you are still left with your eating habits and the process of weight gain repeats itself. It's like doing circles, and the older you get the more difficult it is to break the cycle.

Then again, if you need to lose weight just for improving body image, or to get on a TV show, then the intermittent weight loss may not matter. Realize though, that being overweight is a health risk at any age.

If you already have some lifestyle health issue, such as diabetes or hypertension you shouldn't even give those temporary weight loss fixes a thought. Use a natural weight loss approach.

What is needed

How is natural weight loss effective? What is really needed for most people to maintain their normal weight? Some people believe we need books, tapes, diets, regimens, pills, and even surgery. This question is addressed in the full article on my website.

Change What You Crave By Changing How You Think: The 5 Step Mental Method to Natural Weight Loss

Thomas Kersting has written Change What You Crave By Changing How You Think: The 5 Step Mental Method to Natural Weight Loss and writes "If I were to ask you which foods temp you, most likely they wouldn’t be ones that are very healthy. I bet they would be ice cream, potato chips, pizza, or something along those lines. In fact, in your mind right now as you’re reading, you are probably thinking about a food that isn’t healthy. Well, aren’t you? Stop for a moment and think about it……………….. The point I’m going to make in this article is that you can change what you crave by changing how you think. This is the key to natural weight loss.

Every new client that comes to my office for weight-loss has a “craving problem.” But I don’t see it as a problem at all. I see it as a solution. Cravings are over-rated. They are hodge-podge and we don’t have to be controlled by them. We don’t have to feel temped by ice cream, cookies or 20-ounce prime ribs. Instead, we can be tempted by watermelon, pineapple, oranges or apples; foods like that. Healthy weight loss exists. Think that sounds crazy? Well it isn’t and you’ll see why.

When I first sit down and talk with a client about their eating habits, I gather everything I need to know about exactly what they eat and how they eat. The culprit to their weight problem always boils down to snacking, picking, eating foods that are unhealthy or just plain over-eating. Then I’ll ask them what fruits and vegetables they like. I’m yet to come across someone who hates fruit or hates every vegetable under the sun. Finally I’ll ask them how often they eat fruits or vegetables and it’s always a lot less often than the unhealthy stuff..

After I’ve gathered my arsenal of information, we do our thing. I’ll have my clients lay back in my recliner and close their eyes. I’ll direct their mind to a peaceful place, and within minutes they’ll be relaxed like never before. Then I start talking about their favorite fruits and vegetables. I start pumping their mind with healthy weight loss suggestions. I’ll ask them to imagine taking a bite of their favorite juicy, ripe fruit and to feel the juices tickling their taste buds. I’ll say to their mind, “from now on anytime you have a craving for food, you will think of a juicy, ripe piece of fruit. And bingo!!! Next thing you know these are exactly the kinds of foods they start desiring, and the road to easy weight loss begins. Why? Because anytime you close your eyes and bring yourself to a calm, relaxed place, your subconscious mind emerges, and it is this part of the mind that controls what you crave. Change your thoughts and you’ll change what you crave. You'll discover the key to natural weight loss.

Let’s look at this from another perspective. Let’s say pineapple is your favorite fruit. Now, if you were sitting with me right now and I gave you a juicy chunk of it, you would enjoy it thoroughly. And you’d want more, right? Of course. Now, let’s say I reached into my refrigerator, whipped-out a piece of chocolate cake and said, “choose one.” Most likely you would opt for the pineapple because you just had a teaser-piece, which would make your mind want more. The fact of the matter is this: you enjoy your favorite fruits just as much as you enjoy your favorite junk foods, you just believe otherwise.

Again, cravings are over-rated. The mere mention of that devilish word always seems to conjures-up images of high calorie, high fat foods only because these are the foods you are most exposed to in our media driven world. Your subconscious gets accustomed to this and just doesn’t know any better. Change your minds images and you will change your cravings and discover not only natural weight loss but easy weight loss. Here’s a quick 5 minute mental exercise you can begin doing now to help you start changing the way you crave food.

Step 1: Find a comfortable, quiet place where there are no distractions. Begin breathing deeply until you are quite relaxed. Next, count backwards from 10-1, slowly. With each count, imagine that your mind is drifting deeper and deeper.

Step 2: After you have finished counting, imagine that you are relaxing by yourself in your favorite place. A secluded beach or a log in the woods will do the trick. Imagine yourself feeling so very relaxed and peaceful.

Step 3: Next, imagine a basket full of your favorite fresh picked fruit sitting right next to you. See it clearly in your mind, the color, the feel, everything about that fruit. Imagine taking a bite of that juicy fruit and enjoying it like never before.

Step 4: Repeat the following suggestion to yourself 10 times: “From now on, anytime I think of eating, I immediately feel a craving for fruit.”

Step 5: Count from 1 to 5, slowly, and when you reach 5 open your eyes.

Natural Weight Loss The Missing Link

Natural Weight Loss The Missing Link has written by Stuart Gardiner and he writes "The whole subject of weight loss is fraught with confusion. Advice given by one expert is very often contradicted by another. The problem is, most of the experts are affiliated to organisations with specific agendas. It is a bit like going to a financial advisor who receives a fee for recommending a certain products. At the end of the day these people have to make a living so how can you really trust their advice as the best? The weight loss industry is no different, every sector has its experts providing advice heavily biased to the sector they represent.

Regardless of the advice given there does exist a set of fundamental rules to achieve safe but natural weight loss. These rules do not favour any particular diet nor do they promise the world. If you have jumped from one diet to the next hoping for a miracle you will know what I mean. Conventional diets, for most of us, are in the main doomed to failure. We are asked to break a lifetime of habits, switch to some new regime and avoid the foods that we actually like! I ask you, are we not setting ourselves up for failure? Don't get me wrong these diets do and can work for some people. After all they're all based on the fundamental principle that providing there is a calorific deficit after you apply the equation calories in minus calories out, you will lose weight..

Natural weight loss is all about losing weight safely and in accordance with how we have evolved. You just cannot ignore the last 100,000 years and only consider the last 100. It just doesn't make sense! Of course, we need to consider how we live today. Technology might have advanced at a remarkable speed but nature certainly hasn't! You see, we are continually fighting effects with effects. Rather than finding the root cause of a problem we create something new to solve the problem. Our approach to to fighting fat is to invent a low fat product. One can only guess at the problems we are setting up for ourselves. But that's ok, we'll just invent a new medicine :)

One thing is certain in this world though, what may be good for one person is not necessarily good for another. It is no good trying to sell the benefits of meat to a vegetarian. The last thing a marathon runner wants is to bulk up and a body builder will not thank you for asking them to cut protein from their diet! All of these people have different needs so any one diet won't suit all.

It is clear, there are many different roads one can take on the journey to good health and that each of us can only make decisions that are right for us. However, what is also clear is that somewhere we have lost our way. We have tried to fight the effects of modern day obesity with modern day answers and all we seem to be doing is to make the problem worse.

Isn't it about time we looked at things in a different way? We shouldn't be on a 'diet', we should change our habits for life! If we start out on the assumption that this is just a temporary thing then we are doomed to failure, simply because we start to do the things we were denied all the more. How often do you see people lose weight quickly and then put it all back on in a relatively short time? I guess quite a lot. Just imagine the long term effect this has on our health.

The correct way to live a healthy life is not to diet at all. Don't deny yourself anything but begin the process of changing to a more natural way of living by introducing new healthy habits. You will find that over time the crave/binge cycle will diminish and you will start to lose weight naturally.

Stop Being a Carb Sucker and Start Discovering Natural Weight Loss

Stop Being a Carb Sucker & Start Discovering Natural Weight Loss has written by Thomas Kersting and he writes "When Jean came for her first weight-loss session, we talked at length about her eating habits. We talked about how she ate, what she ate and when she ate. Bread’s and pasta’s were Jeans biggest concern. When I asked her about exercise, she explained to me that although she wants to exercise, she just doesn’t have the time to do it. Dan’s appointment was later that day. He was also a self-proclaimed “carb addict” and believed that avoiding them was the ticket to losing weight. Dan didn’t “have time” to exercise either. He didn’t “have time” to eat breakfast. He didn’t “have time” to prepare lunch. He didn’t “have time” for anything. Now, both Jean and Dan did have the time to watch 20 hours of television per week, on average. Hmm, I wondered. Were carbohydrates really the problem here or were there minds just loaded with excuses?

Just about every person I see for weight-loss is on the low-carb bandwagon. They are convinced that carbohydrates are the cause to their weight problem. But when I bring-up the evil “exercise” word the antennas go up and the excuses start coming. This frenzy over carbohydrates has gotten so out of hand that it has me deeply concerned because I know that a low-carb diet is not the “life long” answer to easy weight loss. And it’s certainly not the answer to healthy weight loss..

Then what is the answer to healthy weight loss and keeping it off? Well, you already know it, we all do—EATING LESS AND EXERCISING MORE. Say it with me now…….EATING LESS AND EXERCISING MORE. It’s not rocket science folks but there’s a stubborn part of us, a lazy part, that doesn’t want to accept this. Our mind is in denial mode because we keep waiting for that quick fix, that miracle weight-loss solution. But I’ve got news for you. There is no miracle solution to weight loss; there never has been and there never will be. The real issue is this: we need to break-down our denials and start taking control of our eating and exercise habits? And there’s only one way to do that and it is the only source to natural weight loss. We need to learn how to use our mental resources.

You discover healthy weight loss by using the most overlooked weight-loss weapon of all—the mind. Taking control of your mind means taking control of your eating and exercise habits. When re-programming your mind for weight loss, the first thing you will rekindle is your motivation. We’ve all experienced motivation before. It’s a mysterious sort of thing, like a phantom that comes and goes without warning. Whenever we experience high levels of motivation it seems that nothing can get in our way—and it can’t. Not even food cravings or that early morning “get up and exercise” alarm. But, motivation always seems to slip-away, and for good reasons. But when you learn how to re-program your mind, motivation stays put and doesn’t disappear.

Think for a moment why motivation comes and goes. First of all, everything in this generation is about convenience and simplicity. With the click a button we can get what we want when we want it, and our minds get used to this. We then naturally take the path of least resistance in whatever it is we’re doing. Let’s face it, all of these low-carb diets have everything to do with convenience and simplicity. Eating eggs and bacon while avoiding bread sounds a heck of lot easierr than climbing out of a warm, cozy bed at 6:00 A.M and going for a 30-minute jog.

So how do we flip the switch so that eating less and exercising more becomes desirable? How do we develop these natural weight loss strategies? Both Jean and Dan did, as have countless other clients of mine. The only way to do this, of triggering motivation and self-control, is with the mind—the subconscious mind that is. Here are some brief power programming exercises you can begin doing right away.

1. Find a comfortable quiet place to lie down where there are no distractions. Close your eyes and begin taking several deep breaths. As you breathe, scan your body from head to toe and imagine relaxing every body part. It should take you about ten minutes and after you reach your toes, begin counting from 10 to 1 and imagine drifting more deeply with each count. When you have finished counting, your mind will be in a much more relaxed trance-like state. This means that your subconscious is awake and alert. This is important because the subconscious is uncritical and open to fresh ideas, which is how we create change.

2. At this point you can start using the power of imagery. Begin by imagining yourself doing a physical exercise you feel comfortable with (running, biking, walking). Make your image as vivid as possible; this makes it more real to your subconscious. Imagine yourself with a smile on your face feeling wonderful, completely motivated and in control. You can use any images you want. Make sure you feel that motivational feeling as you do your imagery.

3. . Reinforce the imagery with suggestions. Suggestions like, “nothing gets in the way of exercise” or “I am more disciplined than ever before” are some examples. Use as many suggestions and images as you’d like.

4. When you have completed your mental session make sure to say daily affirmations to yourself. A common affirmation is “every day in every way I feel better and better.”

Now that you know a little bit about how your mind works, it is time to stop searching for miracles, to stop following the media driven hype about carbohydrates and to start facing reality. Once you come back to earth and start using your mind the way you are capable of using it, then you’ll start losing weight and keeping it off."

Why You Are Fat : Natural Weight Loss Dieting Program

Chris Chew as written Why You Are Fat - Natural Weight Loss Dieting Program and writes "Have you ever wondered why you are fat and have considered going on a weight loss dieting program? If you did, then you must know why certain food makes you fat.

Most if not all of us are somewhat carbohydrate addicts. We have pastas, pizzas, white rice, spaghettis, bread, refined flour food and confectionaries in almost if not all our meals. Just look at the queues at the fast food joints on a regular day and you will know what I mean. Bread and sweet sugary drinks are the menu of the day, naturally.

Some of us are reluctant to embark on a weight loss dieting program to lose that excess baggage (body fat) because we think it is an exercise in sheer willpower and futility..

"You are asking me not to eat bread/rice/pizzas/hamburgers, chocolates and ice-creams my entire life? You must be nuts!" Sounds familiar? For those who incessantly snack on biscuits and chocolates between meals to stave off hunger while working at the office, here is why.

You unwittingly and naturally reach for such snacks because of the food you chose to eat earlier at an earlier meal. If you start the day with three or four slices of white bread spread with fruit jam or margarine and then wash it down with coffee and sugar, you can be sure you will be craving for snacks by mid-morning even though your breakfast was a filling one.

When your food made up primarily of carbohydrate, especially refined carbohydrate like white bread and pizzas, with little protein or fat, not to mention high in sugar, your blood glucose surges crazily following that meal.

To counter the effect of extreme glucose surge in your blood stream, your pancreas will pump more insulin than usual to bring your blood glucose level down. What happens then is that your blood glucose surges will then dip lower than your pre-meal level. When this happens, you start to get hungry and crave for more sweet stuff and more carbohydrate. This is why you reach for sweet snacks and drinks instinctively. Thus the vicious cycle continues again and again and you are eating more and more calories. So choosing the food in your meal is important so that you will not get hungry fast and then consume more calories to satisfy that hunger upsetting your natural weight loss dieting program.

When more carbohydrate is consumed than can be stored by your liver and muscles as glycogen, they are naturally converted to fat. So what should you do?

Well, you can start to limit your carbohydrate consumption (note that I said limit and not stop) and on top of that, choose slow digesting carbohydrates especially carbohydrate with fibers like fibrous vegetables, fruits, legumes, brown rice and brown bread, your insulin spike will not be so eccentric and therefore you will not get hungry or having your sweet tooth so often.

Now think about it, if you do not reach for your snacks and sugary drinks that often, it means that you are consuming fewer calories. So if your caloric consumption is less than your caloric expenditure, you are right on a natural weight loss dieting program without even realizing it. Better still, you are not going on a hunger and starvation diet because you will not get hungry that easily.

Just imagine now that you are losing weight naturally, what if you incorporate an exercise routine into your natural weight loss dieting program to burn off some more calories? Your natural weight loss result will be amazing wouldn’t it?

Now that you know why you are fat, let’s get started on this natural weight loss dieting program."

Natural Weight Loss

Kent Pinkerton has written Natural Weight Loss and writes "Natural weight loss is the process of losing weight in a healthy way. It does not involve the use of drugs. Obesity is the result of long years of incorrect food habits and food items. In some cases, obesity can be hereditary. Natural weight loss is a combination of healthy eating habits, regular exercise and a strong commitment. Sensible goals and sincere efforts go a long way in natural weight loss. It is better to shed off weight gradually to avoid any side effects.

A low-fat and low-carbohydrate diet is recommended for natural weight loss. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day is necessary to flush the system. Detoxification is an important aspect of natural weight loss. Eating fruits help a great deal in preventing weight increase. Many obesity control therapists believe that what an individual eats is less important than how it is eaten. Any kind of food consumed moderately causes little harm. Food must be consumed in small portions at regular intervals. It is better to avoid eating junk foo, though. The best thing to do is to eat lots of raw fruits and cooked vegetables. Soups can be very helpful in beating hunger pangs, which inevitably leads to excessive eating and obesity..

A good exercise program must be developed depending on the amount of time an individual can devote for exercising. Swimming, running and brisk walking help a great deal in weight loss. An individual needs to feel good to look good. Emotional stress and low self-esteem also leads to over-eating. “Emotional eating” is a key impediment to the success of any weight loss program. It is important to get involved in a hobby or a recreational activity like singing or dancing. This serves as a distraction from routine stress. Meditation is extremely helpful in developing a positive frame of mind.

Any weight loss program demands consistent and sincere efforts from the individual. It is helpful to reward oneself after achieving small targets. These rewards are necessary for a morale boost and motivation.
