Natural Weight Loss: It's All in Your Head

Natural Weight Loss: It's All in Your Head has written by Thomas Kersting and he writes "Sitting on your shoulders is a loaded gun. A weapon. A part of your mind that is itching for you to grab its triggers and start gunning down cravings, bad eating habits and stress. A part that will lead you to healthy weight loss. We’ve all heard of this part of the mind before. It’s called the subconscious. But it’s a mystery of sorts. Something that we know exists but we just can’t put our finger on. We’re not sure how to access its arsenal. Not until now that is. The best part of all, once you begin to use this “mysterious” subconscious of yours it won’t seem like a mystery anymore. And, you won’t need to diet and yo-yo anymore. Instead, your discipline, motivation and self-control will emerge and you will discover the key to natural weight loss. So how do you go about using your subconscious, you might be wondering? Read on.

Your subconscious mind is something you use constantly. You just don’t realize it. In fact 90 percent of all that we do is governed by the subconscious and it’s actually quite easy to access. There are just three things you need to do to make it work for you—especially for losing weight.

1. Relaxation: Relaxation pretty much summarizes what subconscious thought is. Whenever you are relaxed, your brainwave activity naturally decreases. This is reminiscent of being in a trance state, a subconscious state. It is here that the mind is most receptive to new images and stimuli. Unlike your conscious mind, your subconscious is uncritical. It does not analyze or critique. It just accepts. Now there are numerous ways to bring about deep levels of relaxation, or shall I say—subconsciousness. One that I use with my clients is called progressive relaxation. Progressive relaxation is much like meditation and involves scanning the body from head to toe and relaxing each part. When you do this, your mind naturally drifts into a deep trance-like state, making it super receptive to what you tell it and leading you towarrd easy weight loss.

2. Imagery: So how do you instruct your subconscious to make easy weight loss a reality? One effective way is through imagery. Your subconscious can’t tell the difference between what is real or imagined. Let me give you an example. Have you ever read a Steven King Horror or a Mary Higgins-Clark Suspense? Did you ever get frightened or feel like you had to hold-on to the edge of your seat? Sure you did and these reactions were very real. Yet what caused them is not real, it’s imagery. You see, any time you’re reading a book or watching a movie, for example, your mind drifts into a light, trance state, making it super receptive. Essentially, you react to something that isn’t real in a very real way. This is exactly how this stuff is going to help you lose weight. This is what Power Programming your mind is all about and it is the only natural weight loss system there is.

Here’s how it works for weight-loss. While you’re in your subconscious state of mind you can imagine yourself sitting at the dinner table, eating slowly and leaving food on your plate. You can imagine yourself looking in the freezer without any temptation to dive into that pint of Ben & Jerry’s. You get the picture. You’ll be surprised just how well you will respond to these kinds of images. It will seem too easy.

3. Suggestion: Suggestions are direct commands that you feed your mind while in your relaxed, subconscious state. You can say things like, “from now on I am always in control of what I eat”, or I feel perfectly fine avoiding those late-night snacks”, or “I enjoy fruits and vegetables more than ever.” Natural weight loss will be the end product.

Remember, every action we take is mind over matter. Your mind is a powerful computer that only you know the password to. By working with you mind, you’ll find that you can make changes that you never thought possible. All you have to do is dedicate 10 or 15 minutes of your time a day, 3 days a week, and natural weight loss will result.

All Natural Weight Loss Supplement - Hoodia Gordonii

All Natural Weight Loss Supplement - Hoodia Gordonii by Paul Callis and he writes In my time I have been an international competitive swimmer, ranked number 1 in the UK, in the top 20 worldwide, represented England, and won medals at World level. Having been in the environment of top class athletes, and everyday healthy people, I have become very knowledgeable in the area of nutrition and fitness. Still maintaining regular fitness and excellent nutritional levels, I regularly converse with many people of all types of fitness levels. The majority, at fitness centers, are obese and vastly over weight, constantly looking for ways to lose weight.

Spending years training in public, and seeing bodily changes on a day to day basis, I have become very familiar with Hoodia Gordonii, and have seen rapid improvements, that have in turn had life changing effects on people, and all for the better.

You may be wondering what Hoodia Gordonii is, and may have heard from the newspapers and television..

It is grown in the Kalahari Desert region of South Africa, Hoodia Gordonii is an all-natural appetite suppressant, derived from a cactus-like plant with prickly spikes. Scientists have been researching the Hoodia plant for almost a decade, and have found it to be completely free of harmful side effects.

The active ingredient in Hoodia Gordonii, the molecule known as P57, imitates the effects that glucose has on your brain, signaling that you are full. Your brain has what is called a Hypothalamus. This part of your brain controls your appetite. When you eat, the glucose levels in your body rise. As these levels go up, the hypothalamus sends off a signal to your cells to stop eating. This is when you start to feel full. Hoodia Gordonii's molecule, P57, tells your brain the same exact thing, even if you haven't eaten a bite. By mimicking the effects of glucose on your brain, the hypothalamus starts to send messages to your cells which in turn, make you feel full.

How To Lose Weight Easily, Quickly And Naturally Program - Natural Weight Loss

How To Lose Weight Easily, Quickly And Naturally Program - Natural Weight Loss has written by: Chris Chew and he writes "It is easy to lose weight quickly and naturally if you have a systematic weight loss program. Many people failed to lose weight successfully because of the natural tendency to choose easy quick fix programs such as going on drastic diets, popping diet pills or persuaded to buy some exercise gadgets that simply do not work. In my other articles, I have addressed these issues and why such easy quick fix programs simply do not work in the long term and will not repeat them here.

To lose weight quickly, naturally and easily, you have to combine a healthy eating habit, correct cardio and strengthening exercises. We shall touch on the subject of how to lose weight quickly and naturally through a healthy eating program in this article.

• Increase Your Metabolism – Eat 5-6 small meals daily. It has been scientifically proven that by eating frequently, you will raise your body’s natural metabolism. That means your body will burn more fat naturally. You become a fat burning machine all day long..

• Eat Less Calories – Although you need to increase meal frequency to lose weight naturally, you must be mindful of your caloric consumption. Calories consumed must not exceed calories expanded for your daily energy. So keep your meals small and cut down on dietary fats as each gram of fat contains 9 calories whereas each gram of protein and carbohydrate contains only 4 calories.

• Avoid Starchy And Processed Flour Foodstuffs – These foodstuffs are easy to digest and turn into sugar rapidly and in turn get converted to body fat if these sugar calories are not used up as energy quickly. So ditch your cakes, cookies, pizzas, pastas, white rice etc Replace them with high fiber bread, legumes, brown rice, grains and nuts instead. So stay away from fast food restaurants as most fast food menus offer such foodstuff.

• Avoid All Sugary and Soft Drinks – Reason is obvious. Most if not all of these kind of drinks are heavily laced with sugar and sugar gets converted to body fat very quickly. You have to run on the treadmill for 20-30 minutes just to burn away a can’s worth of calories in a soft drink. Just imagine how much body fat you will accumulate if you drink just three cans of soft drinks a day along with 2 cups of sugar added coffee?

• Avoid All Forms Of Alcohol – There are about 7 calories in a gram of alcohol. Alcohol calories have zero nutritional value. They are just mere empty calories. Indulging in regular alcohol consumption not only wrecks your health, it will set back your weight loss program completely.

Oh….so you think this eating habit is difficult to implement or that you will miss your sugary foodstuffs and soft drinks? Not to worry. You may experience some withdrawal symptoms at first but after a week or two, you will be weaned off your sugar and simple carbohydrate cravings. Once your addictions to these foods are curbed, you will no longer have your sweet tooth and will naturally avoid such foodstuff.

Just by following these healthy eating habits, you will start to lose weight easily, quickly and naturally. Include cardio and weight lifting exercises into your weight loss program and your weight loss will be permanent.

Caralluma Fimbriata A New Natural Weight Loss Aid

Caralluma Fimbriata A New Natural Weight Loss Aid has written by Bill Herren and he writes "You are likely to be seeing a new ingredient in some weight loss supplements by the name of Caralluma Fimbriata. Caralluma Fimbriata is similar to hoodia in that it is a natural appetite suppressant.

Caralluma Fimbriata is said to be a vegetable that is used daily in tribal India. It is eaten in several different forms and it is said that it is used by tribesman in the same way Hoodia is used in other parts of the world – Tribesman will consume it before a long hunt to curb the appetite.

A company named Gencor Pacific USA has created a brand called Slimaluma ™ which is a standardized extract of Caralluma Fimbriata. Caralluma Fimbriata already has some studies behind it that makes it look very promising in the world of weight loss dietary supplements..

If you have tried Hoodia and did not have any success, you may want to try Caralluma Fimbriata before giving up on an all natural appetite stimulant. Currently there are not many products on the market containing Caralluma Fimbriata but I suspect that will change in the near future. We will probably start seeing combination products which contain other well known weight loss supplements such as green tea, Citrimax, and Chromium.

Remember that weight loss supplements usually target different areas. Some are considered fat burners, some inhibit the absorption of carbs or fat, and some are appetite suppressants. Caralluma Fimbriata is for people who want help in controlling their appetite.

We may see Caralluma Fimbriata combined with ingredients designed to burn fat, absorb carbs, etc. Keep in mind what your goal is before purchasing a weight loss supplement and you will probably not be disappointed with the results. It appears Caralluma Fimbriata will be affordable and the dosages will be reasonable. It appears that dosages are going to be around 1 gram per day. The manufacturers will probably recommend divided doses throughout the day but be sure and follow the directions on the bottle.

Natural Weight Loss A Diabetic Perspective

Natural Weight Loss A Diabetic Perspective has written By Bentley Thompson and he writes "For natural weight loss, you don't need special diets. You need the tortoise mindset and, very possibly, a new wardrobe.

Okay, raise your hand if you think a natural weight loss method is better for a diabetic than an "un-natural" one. Good, almost everyone raised their hand.

Now, I cannot find where anyone has properly defined the term natural weight loss, so I have to give you my definition. Simply put, it is the opposite of natural weight gain.

This consideration excludes the loss of weight gained during pregnancy or removal of heavy clothing or jewelry (if that's possible). Even though shedding the weight gained by those means could be considered "natural," we will confine this argument to the process of reversing obesity without surgery, pills, or potions..

By natural weight loss I also mean much more than the temporary results implied and delivered by many Internet weight loss programs. People with real life issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease, do not need temporary weight loss. We need long term results.

If you just want to lose some weight so you can appear on the Oprah Show, or American Idol, then health may be secondary. A natural weight loss approach may not get you there in two weeks, so the claims of the quick weight loss diets on the Internet might look more appealing.

If you need to change your lifestyle, you're talking about a change in life habits. For long term or permanent benefits, your diet should pattern the way we were created to eat. You should follow the natural laws of health.

Remember the tortoise

The weight loss ads often conjure speed. "Quick weight loss" is an attention getter on any form of advertising. It glosses over the risks associated with removal of tissue that has been deposited over many months and years.

But for effective and permanent results, there almost always has to be a change in behavior as well. This means running like the tortoise and not like the hare.

Don't take the circular route

Many popular weight loss products and programs work on a cycle. It's like going around in circles. The result they produce is cyclical.

Unlike natural weight loss methods, they make you lose weight by stimulating hyperactivity. You then expend more energy than you would normally. So you burn more calories and you do lose weight.

The problem with this is that it's not normal to be stimulated like this all the rest of your life. After you lose some weight you are still left with your eating habits and the process of weight gain repeats itself. It's like doing circles, and the older you get the more difficult it is to break the cycle.

Then again, if you need to lose weight just for improving body image, or to get on a TV show, then the intermittent weight loss may not matter. Realize though, that being overweight is a health risk at any age.

If you already have some lifestyle health issue, such as diabetes or hypertension you shouldn't even give those temporary weight loss fixes a thought. Use a natural weight loss approach.

What is needed

How is natural weight loss effective? What is really needed for most people to maintain their normal weight? Some people believe we need books, tapes, diets, regimens, pills, and even surgery. This question is addressed in the full article on my website.

Change What You Crave By Changing How You Think: The 5 Step Mental Method to Natural Weight Loss

Thomas Kersting has written Change What You Crave By Changing How You Think: The 5 Step Mental Method to Natural Weight Loss and writes "If I were to ask you which foods temp you, most likely they wouldn’t be ones that are very healthy. I bet they would be ice cream, potato chips, pizza, or something along those lines. In fact, in your mind right now as you’re reading, you are probably thinking about a food that isn’t healthy. Well, aren’t you? Stop for a moment and think about it……………….. The point I’m going to make in this article is that you can change what you crave by changing how you think. This is the key to natural weight loss.

Every new client that comes to my office for weight-loss has a “craving problem.” But I don’t see it as a problem at all. I see it as a solution. Cravings are over-rated. They are hodge-podge and we don’t have to be controlled by them. We don’t have to feel temped by ice cream, cookies or 20-ounce prime ribs. Instead, we can be tempted by watermelon, pineapple, oranges or apples; foods like that. Healthy weight loss exists. Think that sounds crazy? Well it isn’t and you’ll see why.

When I first sit down and talk with a client about their eating habits, I gather everything I need to know about exactly what they eat and how they eat. The culprit to their weight problem always boils down to snacking, picking, eating foods that are unhealthy or just plain over-eating. Then I’ll ask them what fruits and vegetables they like. I’m yet to come across someone who hates fruit or hates every vegetable under the sun. Finally I’ll ask them how often they eat fruits or vegetables and it’s always a lot less often than the unhealthy stuff..

After I’ve gathered my arsenal of information, we do our thing. I’ll have my clients lay back in my recliner and close their eyes. I’ll direct their mind to a peaceful place, and within minutes they’ll be relaxed like never before. Then I start talking about their favorite fruits and vegetables. I start pumping their mind with healthy weight loss suggestions. I’ll ask them to imagine taking a bite of their favorite juicy, ripe fruit and to feel the juices tickling their taste buds. I’ll say to their mind, “from now on anytime you have a craving for food, you will think of a juicy, ripe piece of fruit. And bingo!!! Next thing you know these are exactly the kinds of foods they start desiring, and the road to easy weight loss begins. Why? Because anytime you close your eyes and bring yourself to a calm, relaxed place, your subconscious mind emerges, and it is this part of the mind that controls what you crave. Change your thoughts and you’ll change what you crave. You'll discover the key to natural weight loss.

Let’s look at this from another perspective. Let’s say pineapple is your favorite fruit. Now, if you were sitting with me right now and I gave you a juicy chunk of it, you would enjoy it thoroughly. And you’d want more, right? Of course. Now, let’s say I reached into my refrigerator, whipped-out a piece of chocolate cake and said, “choose one.” Most likely you would opt for the pineapple because you just had a teaser-piece, which would make your mind want more. The fact of the matter is this: you enjoy your favorite fruits just as much as you enjoy your favorite junk foods, you just believe otherwise.

Again, cravings are over-rated. The mere mention of that devilish word always seems to conjures-up images of high calorie, high fat foods only because these are the foods you are most exposed to in our media driven world. Your subconscious gets accustomed to this and just doesn’t know any better. Change your minds images and you will change your cravings and discover not only natural weight loss but easy weight loss. Here’s a quick 5 minute mental exercise you can begin doing now to help you start changing the way you crave food.

Step 1: Find a comfortable, quiet place where there are no distractions. Begin breathing deeply until you are quite relaxed. Next, count backwards from 10-1, slowly. With each count, imagine that your mind is drifting deeper and deeper.

Step 2: After you have finished counting, imagine that you are relaxing by yourself in your favorite place. A secluded beach or a log in the woods will do the trick. Imagine yourself feeling so very relaxed and peaceful.

Step 3: Next, imagine a basket full of your favorite fresh picked fruit sitting right next to you. See it clearly in your mind, the color, the feel, everything about that fruit. Imagine taking a bite of that juicy fruit and enjoying it like never before.

Step 4: Repeat the following suggestion to yourself 10 times: “From now on, anytime I think of eating, I immediately feel a craving for fruit.”

Step 5: Count from 1 to 5, slowly, and when you reach 5 open your eyes.

Natural Weight Loss The Missing Link

Natural Weight Loss The Missing Link has written by Stuart Gardiner and he writes "The whole subject of weight loss is fraught with confusion. Advice given by one expert is very often contradicted by another. The problem is, most of the experts are affiliated to organisations with specific agendas. It is a bit like going to a financial advisor who receives a fee for recommending a certain products. At the end of the day these people have to make a living so how can you really trust their advice as the best? The weight loss industry is no different, every sector has its experts providing advice heavily biased to the sector they represent.

Regardless of the advice given there does exist a set of fundamental rules to achieve safe but natural weight loss. These rules do not favour any particular diet nor do they promise the world. If you have jumped from one diet to the next hoping for a miracle you will know what I mean. Conventional diets, for most of us, are in the main doomed to failure. We are asked to break a lifetime of habits, switch to some new regime and avoid the foods that we actually like! I ask you, are we not setting ourselves up for failure? Don't get me wrong these diets do and can work for some people. After all they're all based on the fundamental principle that providing there is a calorific deficit after you apply the equation calories in minus calories out, you will lose weight..

Natural weight loss is all about losing weight safely and in accordance with how we have evolved. You just cannot ignore the last 100,000 years and only consider the last 100. It just doesn't make sense! Of course, we need to consider how we live today. Technology might have advanced at a remarkable speed but nature certainly hasn't! You see, we are continually fighting effects with effects. Rather than finding the root cause of a problem we create something new to solve the problem. Our approach to to fighting fat is to invent a low fat product. One can only guess at the problems we are setting up for ourselves. But that's ok, we'll just invent a new medicine :)

One thing is certain in this world though, what may be good for one person is not necessarily good for another. It is no good trying to sell the benefits of meat to a vegetarian. The last thing a marathon runner wants is to bulk up and a body builder will not thank you for asking them to cut protein from their diet! All of these people have different needs so any one diet won't suit all.

It is clear, there are many different roads one can take on the journey to good health and that each of us can only make decisions that are right for us. However, what is also clear is that somewhere we have lost our way. We have tried to fight the effects of modern day obesity with modern day answers and all we seem to be doing is to make the problem worse.

Isn't it about time we looked at things in a different way? We shouldn't be on a 'diet', we should change our habits for life! If we start out on the assumption that this is just a temporary thing then we are doomed to failure, simply because we start to do the things we were denied all the more. How often do you see people lose weight quickly and then put it all back on in a relatively short time? I guess quite a lot. Just imagine the long term effect this has on our health.

The correct way to live a healthy life is not to diet at all. Don't deny yourself anything but begin the process of changing to a more natural way of living by introducing new healthy habits. You will find that over time the crave/binge cycle will diminish and you will start to lose weight naturally.

Stop Being a Carb Sucker and Start Discovering Natural Weight Loss

Stop Being a Carb Sucker & Start Discovering Natural Weight Loss has written by Thomas Kersting and he writes "When Jean came for her first weight-loss session, we talked at length about her eating habits. We talked about how she ate, what she ate and when she ate. Bread’s and pasta’s were Jeans biggest concern. When I asked her about exercise, she explained to me that although she wants to exercise, she just doesn’t have the time to do it. Dan’s appointment was later that day. He was also a self-proclaimed “carb addict” and believed that avoiding them was the ticket to losing weight. Dan didn’t “have time” to exercise either. He didn’t “have time” to eat breakfast. He didn’t “have time” to prepare lunch. He didn’t “have time” for anything. Now, both Jean and Dan did have the time to watch 20 hours of television per week, on average. Hmm, I wondered. Were carbohydrates really the problem here or were there minds just loaded with excuses?

Just about every person I see for weight-loss is on the low-carb bandwagon. They are convinced that carbohydrates are the cause to their weight problem. But when I bring-up the evil “exercise” word the antennas go up and the excuses start coming. This frenzy over carbohydrates has gotten so out of hand that it has me deeply concerned because I know that a low-carb diet is not the “life long” answer to easy weight loss. And it’s certainly not the answer to healthy weight loss..

Then what is the answer to healthy weight loss and keeping it off? Well, you already know it, we all do—EATING LESS AND EXERCISING MORE. Say it with me now…….EATING LESS AND EXERCISING MORE. It’s not rocket science folks but there’s a stubborn part of us, a lazy part, that doesn’t want to accept this. Our mind is in denial mode because we keep waiting for that quick fix, that miracle weight-loss solution. But I’ve got news for you. There is no miracle solution to weight loss; there never has been and there never will be. The real issue is this: we need to break-down our denials and start taking control of our eating and exercise habits? And there’s only one way to do that and it is the only source to natural weight loss. We need to learn how to use our mental resources.

You discover healthy weight loss by using the most overlooked weight-loss weapon of all—the mind. Taking control of your mind means taking control of your eating and exercise habits. When re-programming your mind for weight loss, the first thing you will rekindle is your motivation. We’ve all experienced motivation before. It’s a mysterious sort of thing, like a phantom that comes and goes without warning. Whenever we experience high levels of motivation it seems that nothing can get in our way—and it can’t. Not even food cravings or that early morning “get up and exercise” alarm. But, motivation always seems to slip-away, and for good reasons. But when you learn how to re-program your mind, motivation stays put and doesn’t disappear.

Think for a moment why motivation comes and goes. First of all, everything in this generation is about convenience and simplicity. With the click a button we can get what we want when we want it, and our minds get used to this. We then naturally take the path of least resistance in whatever it is we’re doing. Let’s face it, all of these low-carb diets have everything to do with convenience and simplicity. Eating eggs and bacon while avoiding bread sounds a heck of lot easierr than climbing out of a warm, cozy bed at 6:00 A.M and going for a 30-minute jog.

So how do we flip the switch so that eating less and exercising more becomes desirable? How do we develop these natural weight loss strategies? Both Jean and Dan did, as have countless other clients of mine. The only way to do this, of triggering motivation and self-control, is with the mind—the subconscious mind that is. Here are some brief power programming exercises you can begin doing right away.

1. Find a comfortable quiet place to lie down where there are no distractions. Close your eyes and begin taking several deep breaths. As you breathe, scan your body from head to toe and imagine relaxing every body part. It should take you about ten minutes and after you reach your toes, begin counting from 10 to 1 and imagine drifting more deeply with each count. When you have finished counting, your mind will be in a much more relaxed trance-like state. This means that your subconscious is awake and alert. This is important because the subconscious is uncritical and open to fresh ideas, which is how we create change.

2. At this point you can start using the power of imagery. Begin by imagining yourself doing a physical exercise you feel comfortable with (running, biking, walking). Make your image as vivid as possible; this makes it more real to your subconscious. Imagine yourself with a smile on your face feeling wonderful, completely motivated and in control. You can use any images you want. Make sure you feel that motivational feeling as you do your imagery.

3. . Reinforce the imagery with suggestions. Suggestions like, “nothing gets in the way of exercise” or “I am more disciplined than ever before” are some examples. Use as many suggestions and images as you’d like.

4. When you have completed your mental session make sure to say daily affirmations to yourself. A common affirmation is “every day in every way I feel better and better.”

Now that you know a little bit about how your mind works, it is time to stop searching for miracles, to stop following the media driven hype about carbohydrates and to start facing reality. Once you come back to earth and start using your mind the way you are capable of using it, then you’ll start losing weight and keeping it off."

Why You Are Fat : Natural Weight Loss Dieting Program

Chris Chew as written Why You Are Fat - Natural Weight Loss Dieting Program and writes "Have you ever wondered why you are fat and have considered going on a weight loss dieting program? If you did, then you must know why certain food makes you fat.

Most if not all of us are somewhat carbohydrate addicts. We have pastas, pizzas, white rice, spaghettis, bread, refined flour food and confectionaries in almost if not all our meals. Just look at the queues at the fast food joints on a regular day and you will know what I mean. Bread and sweet sugary drinks are the menu of the day, naturally.

Some of us are reluctant to embark on a weight loss dieting program to lose that excess baggage (body fat) because we think it is an exercise in sheer willpower and futility..

"You are asking me not to eat bread/rice/pizzas/hamburgers, chocolates and ice-creams my entire life? You must be nuts!" Sounds familiar? For those who incessantly snack on biscuits and chocolates between meals to stave off hunger while working at the office, here is why.

You unwittingly and naturally reach for such snacks because of the food you chose to eat earlier at an earlier meal. If you start the day with three or four slices of white bread spread with fruit jam or margarine and then wash it down with coffee and sugar, you can be sure you will be craving for snacks by mid-morning even though your breakfast was a filling one.

When your food made up primarily of carbohydrate, especially refined carbohydrate like white bread and pizzas, with little protein or fat, not to mention high in sugar, your blood glucose surges crazily following that meal.

To counter the effect of extreme glucose surge in your blood stream, your pancreas will pump more insulin than usual to bring your blood glucose level down. What happens then is that your blood glucose surges will then dip lower than your pre-meal level. When this happens, you start to get hungry and crave for more sweet stuff and more carbohydrate. This is why you reach for sweet snacks and drinks instinctively. Thus the vicious cycle continues again and again and you are eating more and more calories. So choosing the food in your meal is important so that you will not get hungry fast and then consume more calories to satisfy that hunger upsetting your natural weight loss dieting program.

When more carbohydrate is consumed than can be stored by your liver and muscles as glycogen, they are naturally converted to fat. So what should you do?

Well, you can start to limit your carbohydrate consumption (note that I said limit and not stop) and on top of that, choose slow digesting carbohydrates especially carbohydrate with fibers like fibrous vegetables, fruits, legumes, brown rice and brown bread, your insulin spike will not be so eccentric and therefore you will not get hungry or having your sweet tooth so often.

Now think about it, if you do not reach for your snacks and sugary drinks that often, it means that you are consuming fewer calories. Natural Weight Loss

Kent Pinkerton has written Natural Weight Loss and writes "Natural weight loss is the process of losing weight in a healthy way. It does not involve the use of drugs. Obesity is the result of long years of incorrect food habits and food items. In some cases, obesity can be hereditary. Natural weight loss is a combination of healthy eating habits, regular exercise and a strong commitment. Sensible goals and sincere efforts go a long way in natural weight loss. It is better to shed off weight gradually to avoid any side effects.

A low-fat and low-carbohydrate diet is recommended for natural weight loss. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day is necessary to flush the system. Detoxification is an important aspect of natural weight loss. Eating fruits help a great deal in preventing weight increase. Many obesity control therapists believe that what an individual eats is less important than how it is eaten. Any kind of food consumed moderately causes little harm. Food must be consumed in small portions at regular intervals. It is better to avoid eating junk foo, though. The best thing to do is to eat lots of raw fruits and cooked vegetables. Soups can be very helpful in beating hunger pangs, which inevitably leads to excessive eating and obesity..

A good exercise program must be developed depending on the amount of time an individual can devote for exercising. Swimming, running and brisk walking help a great deal in weight loss. An individual needs to feel good to look good. Emotional stress and low self-esteem also leads to over-eating. “Emotional eating” is a key impediment to the success of any weight loss program. It is important to get involved in a hobby or a recreational activity like singing or dancing. This serves as a distraction from routine stress. Meditation is extremely helpful in developing a positive frame of mind.

Any weight loss program demands consistent and sincere efforts from the individual. It is helpful to reward oneself after achieving small targets. These rewards are necessary for a morale boost and motivation.

When these 2 substances in green tea react to each other, metabolism rates increase along with the body’s 24-hour energy expenditure. Green tea’s EGCG also triggers the release of the hormone noradrenaline, an appetite-suppressant.

How To Choose The Right Weight Loss Supplement For You

How To Choose The Right Weight Loss Supplement For You was written by Gregg Hall and he writes "How many people who struggle to control their weight are actually seeking ways to get enough nutritional value from the foods that they eat, instead of just trying to do away with calories?

Most people to not get the proper nutrients they need to stay healthy while dieting. Even though we change our eating habits and make better food choices, we sometime eliminate those foods that contain the vitamins and minerals we need most. To prevent this from happening we can add a weight loss dietary supplement to our daily routine.

Taking a daily weight loss vitamin supplement, in conjunction with a well balance diet and exercise, can give the body what it needs to fight off most illnesses. Just remember that there are risks involved with these types of supplements due to the fact that they contain substances other than vitamins and minerals. The best thing to do when adding weight loss vitamins to your diet is to consult a physician, or other healthcare provider, and educate yourself on the different supplements available..

Weight loss vitamins are a supplement and should not replace meals. Also, a doctor, nutritionist or dietitian could help decided what would be the best supplement after taking into consideration health history and current state of health. There are quite a few on the market and they come in a variety of forms. For those who are not all that interested in taking pills, there are powders and energy bars. Another thing to think about is the type of medications that you may have been prescribed by your doctor.

People who do have conditions that require medications should find out if the supplement they choose has any adverse reactions. This can be done by searching the internet websites or contacting organizations that compile information on various weight loss supplements. If you choose to consult a dietician or nutritionist, it is best to let them know what medications you have been prescribed.

Also, different people experience different side effects. Find out what the risks are for a particular supplement and if you experience any one of them, call your doctor right away. Make sure that you do not take these supplements in place of other medications prescribed to you. Doing this could have adverse effects. Also talk to a doctor about taking weight loss vitamins if you have just had surgery or plan on having surgery.

Dieting is viewed as a way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. But denying the body the vital vitamins and minerals it needs to ward off illness can do just the opposite of what we are trying to accomplish. Weight loss vitamins can help prevent that from happening. Just remember to choose them wisely. Talk to your doctor, or healthcare provider, before taking anything and do your own research.

Natural Weight Loss Tips

Natural Weight Loss Tips was written by Carl DiNello and he writes "We are all probably aware that food-obsessive behavior is common. Because of this a natural weight loss diet can be difficult to maintain. However, it offers a better chance for success than any other diet option.

Men and women who are binge eaters, as well as those who fantasize about, and often almost live for food can be almost as addicted to food as someone who is addicted to alcohol, or narcotics. They desperately need a metabolic approach to their problem..

Life Without Control

When they are children, most people start off eating the so-called balanced diet, but by the time they reach adulthood, their diet has become progressively less balanced.

They begin to notice an expanding waistline, they take a look at their eating habits, and they finally realize they have a problem. They may even notice that their choice of food has gone off in a specific direction.

The majority will find that carbohydrates now form the bulk of what they eat. Breads, cakes, and candies, pasta, and popcorn; the list goes on and on. Surprising and illogical food cravings are typical, as carbohydrate addiction is very real. A safe, natural weight loss program is calling them, but they don't hear it.

Have you ever had a complete dinner including a big dessert, and almost immediately afterward find that you want something else that is sweet? This extra carbohydrate craving is a sure sign, as is fatigue, that your carbohydrate metabolism is probably out of whack. After eating the carbohydrate food that you were craving, your feeling of satisfaction is only a brief one.

Many carbohydrate addicts find that they can't walk past the refrigerator without opening it. Most people don't recognize that they have a problem, with many feeling that their compulsions are harmless.

It is important that they understand their food compulsion is not a character disorder. It is a chemical disorder called hyperinsulinism, as well as an eating behavioral disorder.

If you really want to succeed with a natural weight loss program, the first thing you have to do is to get rid of that compulsive behavior. You can get off to a great start by avoiding harmful carbohydrates such as those in refined sugar.

Sugar itself, has no nutritional value, and can be directly harmful to your overall health. Despite the sugar companies determined attempts to defend it, hundred of studies clearly show how potentially deadly its effects can be.

Sugar activates certain metabolic processes that are harmful to your overall health as well as your waistline. It is a metabolic poison.

You can lose weight naturally simply by starting to count your calorie intake. Discuss a safe diet based on a reasonable daily calorie intake with your doctor. Your doctor is best suited to advise you on just what is safe specifically for you, and your efforts with natural weight loss. You must improve on the quality of your diet, not the quantity.

Next, incorporate a healthy lifestyle into this program of weight loss by engaging in regular daily exercise. Regular exercise will provide you with a great many more health benefits than just assisting with your weight loss program. The best thing about exercise, when used to help natural weight loss, is that it continuously boosts your body’s “metabolic rate” so as to promote the continuous burning of calories.

Continue with your efforts by replacing a few foods in your meal plan. Gradually changing these foods will make it a lot easier to conform to a natural weight loss plan. For example, if you like pork, cut off the fat and eat only the lean meat. Don't fry it, broil it, and it will still be delicious.

Simply by changing your eating habits, avoiding the foods that make you gain weight, and incorporating a regular exercise program into your life will allow you to effectively lose weight with a natural weight loss program.

The Green Tea Extract

The Green Tea Extract was written by Celia Namart and she writes "What is Green Tea Extract?

Green Tea Extract is the concentrate of the green tea leaf. The leaf is steeped in alcohol or some other solvent, which is then left to evaporate, leaving the extract. It has all the essential properties of the Green Tea Leaf. The extract has more of the essential parts, while parts of the leaf have no benefit, or effect at all.

Why You WANT it

Just as in green tea, the extract is loaded with plant nutrients called phytochemicals. They’re among some of nature’s strongest and most beneficial substances. The anti-oxidant rich phytochemicals, powerfully defend against the damages caused by free radicals in our bodies..

The free radicals are ‘missing a screw’; literally, they have an unpaired electron, which makes them unstable. They form fast chain reactions and can destabilize other molecules – that’s not good for us. The anti-oxidants found in Green Tea Extract neutralize the free radicals, and in so doing provide a number of noted benefits including: treating headaches, correcting poor digestion, and lowering cholesterol. Not only does the extract provide anti-oxidants, but studies have shown that our blood’s capacity for holding anti-oxidants increases. Not only do we get the healthy nutrients in the extract, but also our bodies are able to hold more – it’s like a Power-Up!

Another benefit from Green Tea Extract is increased metabolism, and therefore, weight loss. Green Tea DOES have caffeine, and you might be inclined to think that’s what raises the rate of metabolism, and gives more energy. However, a study was done where the same amount of caffeine as is found in Green Tea was introduced to the body. The result was that the heart rate increased, but the metabolism did not; caffeine alone had a different effect. In fact, studies have shown that Green Tea Extract raises the metabolism, but NOT the heart rate, which makes it safer than some other herbal weight loss supplements.

Here is an expanded list of benefits for Green Tea Extract:

• Philippines Medical Study showed positive results in its ability to treat acne

• It stimulates the immune system and even fights dental plaque.

• It contains ECGC, a powerful type of anti-oxidant approximately 200 times more potent than Vitamin E

• Has been shown to fight cancer, and even protect against liver damage

How Do You Get it?

If you’ve been thinking about taking Green Tea Extract, it’s important that you educate yourself about all of the health risks. For example, the caffeine can have an adverse effect on some people – so it is ALWAYS necessary for you to consult a professional before you start any serious change in diet.

Once you have all the facts, you’ve spoken to your Doctor or other professional, and you choose to start taking it, it’s very easy to find. Almost any Vitamin store or drug store will have it in stock. Remember, Green Tea Extract won’t always be sold in the same way. Different companies might mix it, or include other vitamins, herbs, chemicals, etc…. So don’t just buy the first bottle you see with “Green Tea Extract” written on it. Read the label, and do your homework. Be smart. Be safe. Be well.

Losing Weight Through Diet

Losing Weight Through Diet was written by Low Jeremy and writes "Various studies show that more than two-thirds of all American adults are either obese or morbidly obese. With all the hype on weight loss and weight loss products, it’s no wonder that more and more people who suffer from being overweight become interested into various commercial diet plans and weight loss programs that are available in the market today.

THE PROS AND CONS OF DIET AND DIETING

Of all the means of losing weight offered by various companies, weight loss diets have become one of the most popular that overweight people use. This is because these people believe that by taking in regulated amounts of food or veering away from eating foods from a specific food group, they can lose weight easily..

But, little do they know that improper diet and dieting may result to rapid weight loss and can even lead to more serious illnesses due to lack of nutrients absorbed by the body.

Food and nutrition experts say that most obese people who are into strict diet and improper dieting have developed have a long history of dieting failure because they always go back to their usual eating and lifestyle habits.

Experts also agree that although improper diet can lead to severe health cases, it can be powerful tool in losing weight if done properly and administered by authorized health care providers. This is because weight loss diets that are monitored by authorities can evoke commitment, discipline, and dedication to those who are taking the specific diet plan. And if these weight loss diets are administered properly, people who choose weight-loss program can conquer their fear of dieting failure and depression.

Indeed, it will take a huge amount of energy for an obese person to be able to stick to any weight-loss diet or program. Aside from fighting the temptation to go back to their usual way of eating, people who are overweight have large tendencies of becoming violent and defensive in their preference of diet.

Although diet can be an effective means of losing weight, experts say that not all weight loss diets and programs can be successful. This is because some diets target the dieter’s weakness and make them believe that they can eat certain amount of foods when in fact, these can contribute much to their weight gain.

AVOIDING FAD DIETS

To be able to lose weight safely and properly, make sure that you know when the weight loss diet is a fad. Here are some ways to help you spot a fad diet:

- Menu offers extremely limited food choices.

- Cutting out an entire food group.

- The diet asks the dieter to eliminate all fats.

- Promises of ultra-fast weight loss or rapid weight loss.

- It aims to sell a specific weight loss product such as herbal weight loss supplement or pills.

- Weight loss diet claims they are based on unproven science.

- It opposes medical opinions.

Guide For Using Herbal Weight Loss Methods

Guide For Using Herbal Weight Loss Methods was written by Javier Fuller and he writes "Making people lose weight has become much of an industry these days with hoards of firms and companies offering packages that promise to have your waist line shrink into a thread and your tummy turned into washboard. Of course, they would stop at nothing to achieve their goals and boast of their value-for-money business approach.

In all likelihood, you too would find yourself standing before the mirror admiring your shape with narcissistic self-involvement. However, it will not take too long for you to realize that all rosy pictures have a darker side and so is the case with this one too. Short cut methods bring short term results with their quick fix outlook. Therefore, herbal way is the best way to shed extra weight, for it has no side effects and is thus preferable even if it is relatively slower in bringing results..

Nature has several herbs for weight loss. They can lose weight safely and effectively without the potentially dangerous medical prescriptions. Just use them together with a healthy diet and a balances workout program. They can provide that much needed extra boost to get to your desired weight loss goals. Some of the effective weight loss herbs are hereunder:

1.Green tea extract is one of the important weight loss herbs. It has been found that they boost energy loss which translates into burning of greater quantities of far resulting in effective and sage weight loss.

2.Cascara sagrada is another one of them. It is a strong stimulant laxative and may be used for weight loss but one should not keep on with it for more than a week.

3.Dandelion is a moderate laxative that aids digestion. So the next time you go for a cup of tea, it may come in handy. You may also take it as fresh dandelion salad.

4.Ephedra is also useful but had been banned for a while sometime back as the researchers has found that it increase the risk of a heart attacks if taken in excess.

5.Garcinia cambogia has the properties of an excellent metabolic stimulant and is quite effective in suppressing the appetite which makes it suitable as a weight loss herb.
